Animal Care Technician
The Humane
Society of Central Oregon is seeking to fill a full time Animal
Care Technician position.
All applicants should have strong customer service skills, the
ability to learn several computer programs and enjoy caring for
animals. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have reliable
transportation.
This job includes all aspects of animal shelter operations
including adoptions, surrenders, redemption, cleaning and
feeding, evaluating temperament, identifying and treating minor
health issues.
Salary starts at $8.50 per hour and health insurance after 90
days. Performance raises given to those who demonstrate
excellent employee skills.
