About Wild Tunes

Wild Tunes brings live music to the Humane Society of Central Oregon, creating a calming and enriching experience for animals in our care. By sharing their musical talents, community volunteers help transform shelter spaces with soothing sounds that can encourage relaxation, curiosity, and positive engagement.

Wild Tunes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by 10-year-old musician and animal lover, Yuvi Agarwal. The program enriches the lives of shelter animals by encouraging volunteers to play musical instruments, helping pets relax, feel more at ease, and enjoy positive experiences while they wait for their forever homes.

Whether you're a student earning service hours, a seasoned performer looking to give back, or someone who simply loves animals and music, Wild Tunes offers a meaningful way to make a difference. Volunteers often discover that playing for shelter pets is both rewarding and relaxing, creating a special connection between people and animals.

And who knows? Your most attentive audience member may just have four paws.
